I love Chelsea and Collegewise! During my first meeting at the end of my junior year, I explained to Chelsea that my dream school was the University of Michigan. Considering that I wasn't the most academically qualified student from my high school who applied to Michigan, yet the only one out of 29 admitted, I doubt that I would've been the one selected without Chelsea's guidance. For that, I love Chelsea and will always feel indebted to her. Chelsea is a fantastic counselor and an even better person! I would recommend her and Collegewise to every student looking for guidance through the college admission process.

Working with Chelsea was absolutely the best decision we ever made! One of the best things about using Chelsea is that SHE was the one holding our daughter accountable for deadlines–it wasn’t mom and dad doing the nagging. When it was all said and done, my daughter had almost too many fantastic schools to choose from.

Chelsea was a fantastic resource in helping to guide us and our son through the lengthy and stressful admissions process! Most importantly, she related well to our son. Ben really enjoyed working with her. My parental insights and concerns were addressed both individually by Chelsea and together with my son.

Choosing Collegewise was one of the best decisions we’ve made. Chelsea helped us find schools that would be right for our daughter and was on top of all of the deadlines for us. Having Chelsea made us feel comfortable instead of stressed about deadlines and applications. I feel lucky to have found Chelsea when we did.

First off, I don't think I could have made it through the college search and application process without Chelsea (seriously). Going to my meetings at Collegewise never felt like a chore, but more as something to look forward to! Everyone in the office is so friendly, willing to help, and made for such great motivators and supporters when it came time to fill in apps and write essays. 10/10!

I cannot speak highly enough about working with Chelsea and the Collegewise process. Chelsea was calm, relatable, compassionate yet practical, which instilled a sense of trust and focus. Our outcome was excellent—ED admission to one of the best private liberal arts colleges in the nation, and one we might not have even considered beforehand.

After graduating from the University of Michigan with a degree in film and video studies, Chelsea got her master’s degree in education from USC and a certificate in college admissions counseling from UCLA. Given that Chelsea is an ardent supporter of Michigan Wolverine football, it wasn’t easy to attend graduate programs at two of her alma mater’s fiercest rivals. But Chelsea rationalized her choices by taking solace in the fact that neither school was Ohio State (Wolverines and Buckeyes don’t exactly play nicely together).
Before joining Collegewise, Chelsea worked as a counseling intern at Beckman High School and Tarbut V’Torah Jewish Community Day School. A loyal subscriber to People Magazine who regularly devours celebrity gossip, Chelsea is also an LA Lakers fan (if you’ve got floor seats next to celebs, she’ll take ‘em!) and a doting mom to her daughters, Perry and Gillian.
