Katherine launched our South Bay office in 2013 after a five-year stint as a college counselor at Mira Costa High School. In addition to a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Loyola Marymount, Katherine also earned a college counseling certificate from UCLA, a California multiple subject teaching credential, and a P.P.S. credential in school counseling.
While the effusive praise from Katherine’s students would be enough to prove that she isn’t as bookish as her long list of degrees might indicate, we’ll also point out that Katherine was named “Best Actress” for her stunning portrayal of “Hot Lips” Houlihan in her high school’s production of MASH. When she’s not counseling students or thrilling audiences, chances are that you’ll find Katherine boating with her husband in the blue waters off Redondo Beach.
