What are people saying about Collegewise?
“Collegewise mentors are very friendly, and this is what made me very comfortable in my interactions with them... the channels of communication were very effective, very open, and I think it was through this that I could really get down to the crux of the matter and work on the things that needed the most work.”
University of Pennsylvania
“I had no idea about the admissions process, and juggling admissions work with IB prep was way too much. Collegewise taught me to systematically think about the process and encouraged me to build my portfolio/resume. I would not have been able to manage it on my own.”
New York University
“Collegewise has been an absolute lifesaver! Not only did our counselor de-mystify and organize the overwhelming amount of information out there, but she really listened to us and matched our son up with a variety of schools that fit his individual personality and interests.”
Janna Colaco, Parent of Spencer Colaco
The University of British Columbia
“I had a wonderful experience with my Collegewise counselor. At every step in the process, she provided me with invaluable advice based on her time as an admissions officer at an elite university. She also helped me feel enthusiastic about what I was writing, which shined through in my essays. In short, my counselor made the application process an exciting—rather than stressful—experience for me. I am so grateful for her kindness, encouragement, and help!”
“Our daughter’s counselor was exactly what we’d hoped for: kind, thoughtful, and compassionate…but also focused and insightful. She helped our daughter manage the whole process, and the encouragement helped my daughter to keep chipping away without ever getting overwhelmed. Collegewise offered specific insights about particular schools and how best to approach them. My daughter entered the college process late and with much trepidation, but her counselor’s calm and friendly manner ensured that she is thrilled with the final outcome.”
Kendie Rose, Parent of Riley Rose
“I really enjoyed my Collegewise experience. My counselor helped me choose which colleges to apply to, and of course helped me with my essays. I am very grateful that she helped me apply to over 20 colleges, as I got into a majority of them. She was very realistic, which did not give me any false hope or discourage me. She brought her honest opinion to the table, which led me to my top-choice school!”
