I had a wonderful experience with Collegewise! Collegewise made the college application process so much less stressful, and thanks to their help, I know I will be attending the school that’s right for me next year!
There is no way I would have been able to get through the college application process without Collegewise. Collegewise helped me find my first choice school (that I didn’t really know much about at first), write an amazing essay that was reflective of me, and kept me on top of all my to-do lists.
JACK COLBY COLLEGE
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ben’s experience with Collegewise! It ended up being a wonderful cheerleading experience for him – he really looked forward to the sessions! Highly recommend!
CYD, PARENT OF BEN MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY
Audrey found the perfect fit for her and received enough scholarship money to make the school affordable for us. We highly recommend Collegewise for busy families like ours.
KELLIE, PARENT OF AUDREY HOFSTRA UNIVERSITY
I don’t know how I would have gone through this process without Collegewise! Collegewise gave me such realistic advice when choosing colleges. I LOVE COLLEGEWISE!
MADELINE UC DAVIS
Working with Collegewise removed much of the stress of the college admissions process and we had a SUPERB outcome. Our son is now off to the college that was his first choice and is very happy. He was accepted at the University of Colorado Boulder, Leeds School of Business. We can’t thank Collegewise enough!
MARCY, PARENT OF TYLER UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO - BOULDER
After engaging with hundreds of students as a college marketing professor and launching her own three children into competitive universities (she’s the proud parent of a documentary filmmaker, a mechanical engineer, and an aspiring human rights attorney), Liz realized her knack for mentoring young adults. She spends time getting to know what makes each student “tick” and is just as comfortable guiding a struggling student as she is supporting a National Merit scholar. Liz is keenly aware of the pressures that students and their families face during this season of their lives, and she is committed to making the college admissions process a positive and encouraging experience for all involved.
Before joining Collegewise, Liz earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Illinois, and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University. While at Northwestern, she worked as a graduate school application reader and a candidate interviewer, and later served as an alumni interviewer for undergraduate admissions right here in the South Bay. In addition to her years of teaching marketing and communications classes, Liz also worked as a writer and a consumer products brand manager (fun fact: Liz met her husband in Chicago at The Quaker Oats company, where he worked on the Cap’n Crunch brand and she worked on the Instant Quaker Oatmeal team).
When the two of them are not eating breakfast together, Liz loves to cycle and hike the coastline or escape with one of the books that need to be read for the (way too many) book clubs she’s joined. In her spare time, she volunteers for a college readiness program near downtown Los Angeles, helping low-income students with their University of California and California State University applications.
