The best thing about working with Collegewise and Megan was the support during the challenging journey of applying to college. My friends had counselors who were demeaning and pessimistic towards them during the process; Megan helped me stay motivated and optimistic.
Signing up for Collegewise was the best decision I ever made. Megan was so incredibly helpful throughout the whole process and I wouldn’t have gotten through those months without her. She opened me up to a ton of different schools across the nation and really helped me find where I belong.

We as a family have been very fortunate and would like to place on record our sincere appreciation for Collegewise and especially for Megan. Megan has been the epitome of an absolute professional counselor and has been very supportive and always willing to go above and beyond in every interaction my son Rehan and we as parents have had with her.

From shortlisting colleges to editing my essays, she has been very encouraging and supportive and has helped me become more prepared for college!

Without Megan, I am not sure Gavin would have found the right fit. The knowledge and guidance she gave Gavin was amazing. She also was amazing at keeping me as the mother calm and in a good place. The guidance she and Collegewise can provide early on is well worth the cost.
FIONA, PARENT OF GAVIN INDIANA UNIVERSITY, KELLEY SCHOOL OF BUSINESS
Collegewise was an amazing way to organize my thoughts and execute creative essays. They were especially effective at bringing out my best ideas and making sure that the essay displayed my voice.

Megan earned her degree in literature and writing from CSU San Marcos and her master’s in education from University of South Carolina. Megan seems to love doing jobs related to colleges, beginning with her role as an orientation leader at her undergrad institution. She’s been a regional admissions counselor in Southern California for three years, and prior to that she worked as a tutor and instructor on college campuses. She’s also been involved with the Regional Admissions Counselors of California (RACC) and the Western Association of College Admission Counseling (WACAC). Whew! All that excitement for higher education makes her an amazing fit for Collegewise. When she is not working with students, she is likely hiking some local trails, cooking all kinds of things (though not with cheese – she doesn’t like the stuff), and binge-watching great shows on Netflix.
