It felt like we sent Blake on a journey in a faraway land, and he got a tour guide who told him what paths to try and which to turn away from. Not having been in this strange land ourselves, as parents, our greatest fear was we would give wrong directions. Great experience, comfortable for Blake from start to finish!

Collegewise helped make my daughter’s college application process smooth and painless. In the end, my daughter was accepted to and will be attending her first choice school, USD. I could not be more thrilled for Alana, and I owe so much to Collegewise for making my daughter’s dream school a reality!

Collegewise provided me with a better understanding of the college application and decision process than I thought possible. Collegewise’s guidance throughout the process allowed me to really figure out what I was looking for in a college, while also maximizing my options.

I would often be stressed about what I needed to get done or about how things were turning out, but every time I walked out of the office, I was so at ease. I think the most important part about being at Collegewise was how personalized the process was, and how much care and time and effort went into me specifically.

Going to my meetings at Collegewise never felt like a chore, but more as something to look forward to! Everyone in the office is so friendly, willing to help, and made for such great motivators and supporters when it came time to fill in apps and write essays. 10/10!

The college application process is confusing and tedious, and Collegewise really helped with that process. It was reassuring to go over my application with my counselor so that we could make sure that I had a better chance of getting in!

College counseling is in Mollie’s DNA. A third-generation educational consultant, Mollie knew terms like yield, retention rate, and institutional priorities before even applying to college herself. The minute she got her driver’s license, she began driving her mother all over the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic visiting colleges and meeting admissions folks. Having her mother as her college consultant made the application process exceptionally easy, and she loves to find ways to make the process as fun and painless as possible for her students and their families. She believes strongly in the value of higher education, academically and socially, and thinks that finding those best fit colleges can make all of the difference in the trajectory of a young person’s life.
Throughout college and graduate school, Mollie continued to accompany her mother on college visits, so that by the time she decided to join her mother in business, she had a strong sense of the process, and had already been on dozens of campuses. As a new, young college counselor, she made the process hers, developing her own ways of approaching the essays and relating to the students. She went on to design and implement a college essay bootcamp that she ran for clients and at a local tutoring company. Between her private counseling and working/volunteering at multiple schools and organizations in New York City, Mollie has probably read approximately 6,547 college essays and is still just as excited about starting the college process with each new student!
Outside of counseling, Mollie loves playing nerdy board games, does the New York Times Crossword Puzzle daily (yes, even Saturday!), and recently completed her first novel (well except all that pesky editing!)
