When I saw Nan working with my son, all my fears regarding the college search quickly disappeared. As much as I am proud of Angelo’s dedication to his application process, this has been in no small part due to the guidance provided by Nan. I chose the comprehensive service and believe that it is truly worth the money.
INGO, PARENT OF ANGELO TULANE UNIVERSITY
My experience working with Nan at Collegewise is one that I will be forever thankful for. Nan wasn’t only my counselor during our one-hour sessions. She was constantly emailing, texting, and communicating with me to make sure I was doing my job. Nan got to know me as a person, which not only helped in the application process but also created a friendly environment.
ELLIOT NORTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY
We are thrilled that our daughter got into the best school on her list–and we are forever grateful for Nan’s guidance. We are convinced that Nan helped our daughter stand out from the crowd and marketed her as a worthy applicant. Our daughter was done applying to college when her peers were only starting.
NOEMY, MD, PARENT OF AVITAL PENNSYLVANIA STATE UNIVERSITY
Can’t say enough great things about Nan. She helped both of my children polish their essays and supplements as well as coordinate their college lists. Nan was especially helpful keeping them on track and also keeping me informed via regular emails. Both of my children are attending fabulous schools, and I am so grateful!
CAROLYN, PARENT OF EDDIE & JACKIE UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME & THE COLLEGE OF NEW JERSEY
What Nan has provided to my great niece is nothing short of incredible, and has even earned her the designation of Kayla’s “college angel.” In addition to sharing her expertise on the application process, Nan invests herself personally. Nan has been an advocate, confidence builder, mentor, cheerleader, and her #1 fan.
LINDA, GREAT AUNT OF KAYLA FRANKLIN AND MARSHALL COLLEGE
Nan saved our lives! She took 100% of the stress of college apps away the second I met her. She was fabulous and she related beautifully with Gabe (who has ADD). I cannot recommend her or Collegewise enough. You all helped our son get into college, which was a community effort to say the least! Three cheers for Nan!
JUDITH, PARENT OF GABRIEL MANHATTAN SCHOOL OF MUSIC
Despite being a self-proclaimed tomboy, Nan parlayed her international business and marketing degree from Georgetown University into a successful 14-year career as a global marketer in the beauty industry, overseeing product launches for Estée Lauder, L’Oréal, and Procter & Gamble. But the call of duty proved stronger than the call of beauty, and Nan left it all behind to earn a master’s degree in school counseling from Seton Hall University, later interning in the guidance department at Tappan Zee High School in Orangeburg. She also volunteers her time as a counselor for a program with the Rockland County Youth Bureau, advising at-risk high school students.
Nan has competed in several Spartan Races (obstacle course events that closely resemble something out of Navy SEAL hell week), most recently finishing 4th overall out of 1700 females. When she’s not counseling or hurtling herself towards seemingly unreachable finish lines, Nan enjoys surfing, cheering with her husband for their beloved New York Jets, and making her young son laugh, often through bathroom-related humor.
