Collegewise and Nicole were wonderful to work with throughout the college application process. She worked with Julie on college selection, essays, deadlines and the whole application process. Julie and our family were very happy with the guidance Nicole was able to provide. Julie got into her top choice and is expecting good news for her other choices as well. We are using Nicole for our twins who will be applying this coming fall
BRYAN, PARENT OF JULIE
I would often be stressed about what I needed to get done or about how things were turning out, but every time I walked out of the office, I was so at ease. I think the most important part about being at Collegewise was how personalized the process was, and how much care and time and effort went into me specifically.

Going to my meetings at Collegewise never felt like a chore, but more as something to look forward to! Everyone in the office is so friendly, willing to help, and made for such great motivators and supporters when it came time to fill in apps and write essays. 10/10!

The college application process is confusing and tedious, and Collegewise really helped with that process. It was reassuring to go over my application with my counselor so that we could make sure that I had a better chance of getting in!

Nicole Frattaroli, College Counselor
When Nicole was 16, she left a particularly unhelpful meeting with her high school counselor and said to herself that one day she would be a counselor and she would be a MUCH better counselor than that guy. And unlike most of the other goals she set for herself in her adolescence (becoming a Broadway star, understanding AP calculus), this one stuck.
As a student tour guide at Tufts University, Nicole and her asthma (mostly) enjoyed walking backwards up the school’s massive hill as she played her small part in helping high school students think about what kind of college environment might be best for them. From there she went on to earn her Master’s in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education with a concentration in School Social Work. Post-graduation, she continued on as a Teaching Fellow at Harvard, teaching graduate coursework focused on counseling adolescents while she simultaneously worked towards obtaining an additional license in school counseling. She also enjoyed spending her summers as the Program Director for the Creative Arts Summer Program through Tufts Children’s Theater.
For the last 12 years, Nicole has been living her dream as a counselor right outside of Boston where she has supported students in getting accepted to to their best fit college. She loves truly getting to know students and helping to take the stress out of the college application process.
When she’s not counseling, Nicole likes unwinding with some low-quality television (against her better judgement she will always be aware of and able to offer her opinion on the latest Bachelor/Bachelorette drama), and she enjoys all things theater and singing.
