Jackie Hall pattern

Jackie Hall, College Counselor

Jackie earned her bachelor's in philosophy and psychology at Hartwick College, then her master's in student affairs counseling from Syracuse University, and she's been immersed in admissions ever since.

She started her admissions run at Marymount Manhattan where she spent a lot of time working with students through the transfer process, and then off to Wagner College where she managed recruitment and admission for Wagner's competitive BS/MS physician assistant program. She reunited with Syracuse in New York City, serving as the Assistant Director of Admission for Metropolitan NY--her regional hustle paid off with an increase of almost 20% in apps from the city. Jaclyn's last stop on the way to Collegewise was at Pace University, where she championed and implemented their recruitment strategy, and was a part of the leadership team that wrote and launched a test-optional policy, all in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

When she's not reading applications, Jackie is a big cinephile--she loves any and all movies, but has a soft spot for horror films. She also loves to bake, and you’ll probably find her making homemade brownies to munch on when she’s feeling stressed.
