Laura Cavanaugh has been an independent college counselor for the last 15 years.  She has visited over 300 college campuses and has also worked as a counselor at a competitive public high school in NJ where she was recently awarded the NJ Educational Services Professional of the Year Award which is a celebratory program that recognizes New Jersey’s best teachers and educational services professionals. Laura is known to work with a range of student abilities and has extensive knowledge of colleges with academic support services but also has the ability to advise students navigating admissions to the most selective colleges.
