Nichelle is experienced, professional, knowledgeable, and has a great, positive and caring attitude. She immediately put me at ease and was always responsive, ready to work and help, and made us feel like we were on top of the college application process. She went above and beyond to help us, and never made feel bad about asking so many questions. We had weekly meetings leading up to the finalization of applications, and I honestly missed seeing her face every week when all the applications were complete. I recommend Nichelle to any family who is looking for a professional and caring college counselor. You will be in good hands.
BURCU, PARENT OF YAZ
Our family had a very positive experience with Collegewise, and our son was accepted into his first-choice school. He is very grateful for the process and the results. Our counselor Nichelle was kind, thoughtful, and informative. Our editor(s) provided meaningful thoughts and edits. In addition, the Collegewise online tool provided extensive information about potential colleges and helped organize the process. We have already recommended Collegewise to multiple friends. Thank you!
BILL, PARENT OF JACKSON
As immigrants, we're overwhelmed by the complexity of a high education system that is foreign to us, and Collegewise has been instrumental at offering guidance and support, both operationally and emotionally, to our daughter.

ALP, PARENT
Since my sophomore year, Collegewise has guided me in a direction that is the most promising of a successful and growthful future. I would not have been able to navigate the rigors of the college application process without their comforting guidance.

Nichelle Passanisi, College Counselor
Nichelle has worked on both sides of the desk: she has read tens of thousands of college applications in admissions and personally guided hundreds of students through the college admission process as a college counselor. She understands the qualities that help an applicant shine in the admissions process and she thrives in helping students define a strong, authentic academic path that tailors to their interests and passions while challenging them in new and exciting ways. Her students have been admitted to schools such as Stanford, Yale, and Duke.
With nearly two decades of experience, Nichelle is particularly adept at breaking the college admissions process into manageable pieces for both students and parents. Her patient, encouraging approach ensures students feel supported at every step of the process, from uncovering the best means of exploration in college research to the clear and methodical submission of their final applications. She brings humor and joy to each interaction, and if you ask her what her favorite part of this work is, she will quickly and effusively answer that it is the opportunity to deeply connect with students. When Nichelle is not meeting with students or digging into the latest admission trends, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and dog named Rico.
