Patti Miller pattern

Patti Miller, College Counselor

“Above and beyond” is a phrase often thrown around, but in Patti’s case, it’s a motto. As a Yale alumna, she served as an interviewer for prospective students, and while earning her MBA from The Wharton School, she helped students as an admission office application evaluator. Not stopping there, she earned certification in college counseling from UCLA, and then served as an intern college counselor to high school students in the Roslyn Union Free School District.

No matter the role, Patti is a consummate professional, self-proclaimed lifelong learner, and always goes the extra mile. In her past, entrepreneurial life as a management consultant for McKinsey & Company, as the owner of a consulting business for startups, and more recently, as the director of marketing for a professional training and coaching company, one thing is clear: Patti values the process of learning and growing from experiences—which gives an “above-and-beyond” edge to her students and families navigating the college admissions process.
