Andy Rasmussen pattern

Andy Rasmussen, College Counselor

Andy’s transformative college experience is what led her to a career in college counseling. Her commitment to her alma mater, Washington State, continues to this day, and you may even spot her waving Ol’ Crimson on ESPN’s College Game Day. Andy approaches every student’s college application process with the intent to uncover and highlight their unique strengths, guide them in discovering their passions, and support them in crafting a college list tailored to their needs and interests.

With over a decade’s worth of experience as a counselor, Andy understands the rollercoaster of college admissions and every fall she buckles in to empower and support students through the next “ride” with just as much enthusiasm. She treasures many points of the process, especially helping students craft their resumes and personal narratives through the application essays. And the college search, of course! Andy is also incredibly adept at explaining the application process and the broad overview of college admissions to the whole family, ensuring everyone feels confident at every step of the student’s admission journey.

In her free time, Andy can be found cheering on her kids at various athletic events, listening to the latest Armchair Expert podcast, or walking her pandemic-rescued dog.
