Collegewise provided me with a better understanding of the college application and decision process than I thought possible. Collegewise’s guidance throughout the process allowed me to really figure out what I was looking for in a college, while also maximizing my options.

I would often be stressed about what I needed to get done or about how things were turning out, but every time I walked out of the office, I was so at ease. I think the most important part about being at Collegewise was how personalized the process was, and how much care and time and effort went into me specifically.

Going to my meetings at Collegewise never felt like a chore, but more as something to look forward to! Everyone in the office is so friendly, willing to help, and made for such great motivators and supporters when it came time to fill in apps and write essays. 10/10!

The college application process is confusing and tedious, and Collegewise really helped with that process. It was reassuring to go over my application with my counselor so that we could make sure that I had a better chance of getting in!

Ellie Foreman, College Counselor
After graduating from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado, Ellie spent three years recruiting students to the happiest place on earth - not Disneyland, though Old Town Fort Collins was the inspiration for Main Street, USA. After spending seven years falling in love with all things Colorado and its 300 days of sunshine, she and her family moved to the actual Sunshine State so she could complete her master's in higher education at Florida State University. Following a short time at the University of Denver working in enrollment services, Ellie crossed the desk and now works full time at a high school in Highlands Ranch as an Academic and College Counselor.
As someone who found the college search process stressful and overwhelming, Ellie loves to really get to know students and understand what they need. At the end of the day, she believes it is about finding the proper fit; somewhere you can call home and reach your highest potential.
Happy to be back in Colorful Colorado, Ellie takes full advantages of her weekends near the mountains. She is a true outdoorsy gal, whether that means a hike, camping, or a brewery patio on a Saturday afternoon. In the colder months, she prefers to enjoy the snow from afar, admiring it through the window while baking, working on DIY house projects, reading one of her 100 books per year, or cuddling with her kitty, Birdie.
