Heather Keddie, College Counselor

Keddie began her admissions journey as an intern in the admission office at her alma mater, Mount Holyoke College, while pursuing a Masters in Higher Education at the University of Massachusetts. From there she headed west working in the admission offices of Whittier College, the University of Southern California, and Stanford University. From there she made the move to college counseling, working at the Sage Hill School and the Archer School for Girls. She thought about shifting her focus on the counseling aspect of her work with high school students, earning a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, but found her heart is really in college counseling. Keddie believes applying to college is all about possibility, potential and fit. She also thinks it can actually be fun.

Outside of work Keddie loves hockey, playing with her dog on the beach, and, since her return to the east coast, enjoying all things New England food from lobster rolls to whoopie pies.
