Lindsey Conger, College Counselor

In her seven years as a college counselor, Lindsey's students have gained admission to some of the most competitive programs in the country, including Brown, Princeton, MIT, Stanford, Duke, Dartmouth, University of Pennsylvania, Northwestern, Johns Hopkins, UC Berkeley, UCLA, University of Chicago, and Rice University. Her expertise extends to the most selective accelerated medical and dental programs, where her students have been accepted to Brown University's PLME, Case Western's Pre-Professional Scholars Program, New York University School of Dentistry, and dozens of other BS/MD, BS/DO, and BS/DMD programs nationwide.

Before transitioning to college counseling, Lindsey established herself as an accomplished freelance writer whose work was featured in Inc., Forbes, HuffPost, Apple News, and CollegeXpress. Having written over 500 articles, blog posts, and website content pieces across diverse industries including real estate, entertainment, technology, and charity, she brings a unique perspective to helping students craft compelling narratives. This writing expertise has proven invaluable in her college counseling work, where she has guided students through writing more than 100 essays per admissions cycle.

With deep expertise with accelerated medical and dental programs, Lindsey is a sought-after specialist in this highly competitive field. She has ghost-written a 400+ page book on the BS/MD application process and regularly conducts mock interviews for both traditional and Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) formats. Her success in this area has led to her interviewing program directors and industry leaders, further deepening her understanding of what these selective programs seek in candidates.

Lindsey's approach to college counseling extends far beyond application mechanics. She focuses on helping students discover their authentic interests and develop what she calls their "personal brand" during their first three years of high school. Whether it's identifying meaningful summer programs, developing passion projects, or building soft skills, she works with students to create genuine experiences that will resonate with admissions committees. Her philosophy centers on helping students find not just academic fit, but social and emotional alignment with their chosen institutions.

As Lindsey describes her approach:

Working with a college counselor is not just a financial investment but an investment in their student's future. I take it seriously, and I do not have a cookie-cutter approach to helping students throughout this process. Every student is different, with unique needs, and I work hard to ensure that they not only get accepted to their dream school but also have the necessary tools to thrive there.

An avid reader who believes literature has deepened her appreciation for diverse perspectives, Lindsey can often be found with a book in hand regardless of genre. When she's not helping students navigate their college journeys, she enjoys running, hiking, traveling to new destinations, experimenting with cooking and baking, and tackling speed puzzles.
