Meet Nan!

Nan was an amazing college counselor! She truly cared about me and always knew what was best for me. She helped me choose my classes, find my interests, get involved in activities outside of school, and greatly assisted me with my college applications. She helped present the very best version of myself to colleges! I genuinely could not have gotten through this process without her.

My parents, having come from China, knew almost nothing about the college admissions process, which meant Nan was a godsend. She's amazing at bringing out the inner you, the one that you want colleges to see, in essays, supplements, and interviews. Add that to the early scheduling and the quick editing, and frankly, applying to colleges was the least stressful part of my year!

My experience working with Nan at Collegewise is one that I will be forever thankful for. Not only did it relieve me of the immense stress that I saw my peers going through, but it taught me a lot about myself as well. The guidance that I received throughout the journey exceeded my expectations. Nan constantly made sure that I was on time with all of my assignments and requirements. That's the great part about this service. Nan wasn't only my counselor during our one-hour sessions. She was constantly emailing, texting, and communicating with me to make sure I was doing my job. Furthermore, Nan got to know me as a person, which not only helped in the application process but also created a friendly environment for us to work in. If it weren't for my time with Collegewise, I don't see how I could've gotten through my junior and senior years the way I did. I can't thank Nan and Collegewise enough for all that they accomplish!

I've really enjoyed my time with Collegewise. The minute I met Nan, I knew she was the perfect counselor for me. She is energetic and optimistic, but also very practical. She really takes time to understand her students. When working on supplements, she knew exactly how to help me and really bring out who I am as a person. She's a great editor and really spends so much time helping her students out and making essays the best they can be.

What Nan has provided to my great niece is nothing short of incredible, and has even earned her the designation of Kayla’s “college angel.” In addition to sharing her expertise on the application process, Nan invests herself personally. Nan has been an advocate, confidence builder, mentor, cheerleader, and her #1 fan.

Nan saved our lives! She took 100% of the stress of college apps away the second I met her. She was fabulous and she related beautifully with Gabe (who has ADD). I cannot recommend her or Collegewise enough. You all helped our son get into college, which was a community effort to say the least! Three cheers for Nan!
