Nicole graduated from Pitzer College in Claremont, CA where she also worked as an outreach coordinator for the Claremont Colleges Debate Union, overseeing hundreds of tournaments across the LA metro area and tabulating middle and high school national championships. She took her love of debate with her to Bulgaria on a Fulbright Scholarship. For two years, she taught English, explored Europe, and counselled many of her 400 students through the college application process to universities in Bulgaria, the UK, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, and the US. Her students have gone on to attend, among others, Purdue, UCLA, University of Washington, SMU, Wake Forest, Princeton University, and the University of Southern California.
Originally from NorCal, Nicole loves her SoCal residency and frequently takes advantage of all it has to offer, including such important highlights as In-N-Out’s shakes, discounted Disneyland annual passes, the beach, and—of course—Costco. In her free time, Nicole will be found reading The Economist, smelling bath bombs at LUSH, judging contestants on “The Bachelor/ette” and geeking out about all things college.

What are people saying about Collegewise?
As a family coming from Australia, adapting to the different education system was overwhelming at first. Our family friend suggested Collegewise—best decision ever. We are so very grateful for the amazing support, advice, and laughter we got from Nicole. She is so passionate and always seeking the best results for Sam.

Nicole really helped me to look outside the standard UC/Cal State schools that I knew, and now I’m going to a school that I love, and one that I wouldn’t have looked at if she hadn’t told me to research it. I definitely think that having Nicole help me was really important because it got me into a lot of great schools.

It was a great experience. I did not have to get involved, which helped bring the stress level down. Having somebody else telling my son what to do was great. He tends to listen better when the guidance does not come from me. I highly recommend this service.

No matter what the time of day, Collegewise was always available for application “emergencies” or last-minute edits on essays and supplements. With Collegewise’s help, I got into 11 out of the 12 schools I applied to, including my dream school, USC!
Collegewise helped me so much with finding the right college for me and all of the applications. I wouldn’t have been able to finish all my applications as early as I did without Collegewise following up with me and keeping me on track. Collegewise was very helpful in my college application experience!
