About Collegewise Bergen County
Since Collegewise Bergen County opened its doors in 2014, we’ve guided more than 250 students through the submission of approximately 3000 college applications. How do our students manage to submit so many apps?
We know that the stellar counseling and sane admissions advice that our counselors impart makes a huge impact, but we have a sneaking suspicion that the giant bowl of candy constantly stocked with student favorite Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups might also have something to do with it. To celebrate the completion of all of their college applications and all their hard work, Bergen County seniors ring the Collegewise bell.

What are people saying about Collegewise Bergen County?
In our college readiness, search and application process, Collegewise provided our family with exceptional insight, support and organization. Our counselor was the real deal. She moved fluidly between the roles of college coach, therapist and friend. She was truly the glue that held together the pieces of the process.

Our counselor is amazing and a pleasure to work with. Her enthusiasm and diligence kept us on track. Her experience is priceless and her support contributed to a stress-free experience. Collegewise provides a great support system and has excellent resources. Will be retaining Collegewise again for my next child.

My counselor helped me sift through the hundreds of colleges out there and find where I would do my best, and then she gave me the tools I needed to make my application as perfect as possible. Without her, I doubt I would even know where I want to go, as opposed to being accepted into my dream school.
With my counselor’s help, I was able to get into my dream school. At the beginning of the application process, I was frazzled. I was lost when it came to writing my college essay and supplements, but she helped make sure my essay reflected me. She was able to see my potential and help me find the perfect college.

I don’t know the words to thank you not only for the navigation through the application process, but also for empowering my daughter to do this on her own. I am not saying I don’t want to be involved—I absolutely do; but I want my daughters to feel confident in their decision-making. I believe your service facilities that.

Before Collegewise, I was really unsure of what direction I was headed in. I was unsure of my major, what I was looking for in a college, and what I needed to do for the application process. My counselor walked me through everything and guided me in the right direction. Everything she did was tremendously helpful.
